I remember reading about this, I just assumed it'd never come to fruition. Cool! I'd drive it!

Sadly I still can't buy one...we don't get the backseated version. :(

holy...4 piston front brakes?! Some reason this is the most stand out of all. They must really want the CR_Z to earn some respect

Haha I have bought every Motor Trend and Consumer reports buyers guide new/used since 2010. I only read it once, but it is very entertaining.

Now if only it didn't have the hybrid drivetrain still in there, it would be great. Lose some lbs and gain a fun to drive car.

Nice on the CR-Z, but I'm the completely opposite on the buyer's guide - just seems like a waste of space to me... Guess it's more targeted for casual buyers that regular subscribers (who usually know all the info contained). Now, if I could get all the info for the buyer's guide in table form... that I would be interested in (they should list curb weight).

Nor do we (get the backseat), but my wife's buying an SUV so I'm free to buy something lacking seats lol.

Stop on a dime, yo!

I always have to have the buyer's guides...even though I've vowed to never buy another new car unless it's an Alfa...

187bhp would make it faster than any of my cars, even with the batteries along for the ride.

Curb weight would be a nice addition to the lists.

Sadly, my wife has decreed that with a second youngling on the way, I can no longer buy anything that has less than 4 doors. I already had the backseat rule since we had our first...the only exception is my Fiat, which I refuse to get rid of.

Ahh yes, the spousal decree. That's definitely fair.
What flavour of Fiat do you have?

I always have the assumption I will use it someday.

Yeah but not mine, and I don't exactly have a speed demon for a car. My car's right at that point where anything faster is nice and fast, and anything slower is too slow.

I have a 500 Sport...not fast by any means, but I love it irrationally.

Must be nice. :p

Right on, I'm really considering a 500 Abarth as my next car; though I need to establish whether I fit in it with the sunroof (I'm 6'). Well that or a MX-5... but I have 2-3 years to figure it out.

Well, I am 5'10" and the sunroof of the 500c I test drove was about an inch above my head
